  1. JOB SUMMARY

 

Over-all responsible for the day-day-operations related to Reservation. Drive Market Share and Revenue Performance through proper pricing and mix management. •Effectively manage and be in control of all inventory (transient, group, wholesale allotments and other) and pricing strategy in all distribution channels including brand website, 3rd party sites etc. Ensure compliance to Hotel Standards for Rate Plans, Rate Categories, Market Segments, Profiles and all other PMS related RM functionalities

 

  1. Main Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Updating the daily Market Segment report for current + 2 months, monthly Sub- Segment report, Distribution channels report and also maintaining reports for all the ongoing promotions in the Hotel for Rooms.
  • Continuously monitor the competitors on a daily basis and make sure to change the rates accordingly on all OTA channels.
  • Handling Rate Tiger {Channel Manager} for updating rates and trouble shooting in case of any failures in pushing the rates in all channels.
  • Managing all the OTA’s (Online Travel Agencies) & Hotel Website, and making sure availability and parity at all times.
  • Recommending new promotions for OTA’s and Travel Agencies, as per the seasonality and business requirements and making sure to update it on all channels accordingly after the approval from Hotel Manager.
  • Checking daily the reservations made by the reservation agents of the previous day and to make sure to reduce the errors to avoid any situation of rebates.
  • Maintain monthly training calendar for the staff and make sure the trainings are conducted and review the progress of the staff accordingly.
  • Coordinating with the team for the selling strategy for maximizing revenue generating opportunities.
  • Daily checking of all reservations for the day, booking of the day and upcoming bookings.
  • Daily room inventory update for all listed on-line extranets to make sure that the load inventory meets actual hotel room inventory.
  • To up sell Rooms and other facilities whenever opportunities arises.
  • To assist all associates during peak hours.
  • To monitor all arriving guests through guest arrival list ensuring that the rates, meal plans, vouchers required and requirements are followed-up.
  • To ensure that any and all required reports and correspondence are completed punctually and accurately.
  • To respond to any changes as dictated by the hotel.
  • To maintain an information file of all valid contracts for Corporate and Travel Agent.
  • Prepare Weekly Reports for Group General Manager & Hotel Manager.
  • Prepare Month End Reports for GGM & HM.
  • Performed other duties and responsibilities as and when required.

  • Ensure all Reservation Staff are working in safe working environment.
